Strategic Plan: A Process of Holy Conversations
For two and a half months in the fall of 2009, a group of ten from the congregation began the first exchanges in what will be a longer conversation about the next steps in St. David’s journey. Our Journey Group was about the journey of the parish, where we have been and where we see God calling us next.
The group identified some characteristics of a call from God that we experienced during our conversation: serendipity, external validation and the cumulative gift of our experience.
As the planning process goes forward, we will survey the congregation for input and begin to identify more specific activities through which the parish can articulate its mission. Then goals will be developed by the Vestry and finally, the staff will identify objectives and action items to reach those goals.
