Confirmation
Confirmation is a sacramental rite in which persons who have been duly prepared make a mature, public affirmation of their faith and a commitment to the responsibilities of Baptism and receive the laying on of hands by the bishop. It is appropriate for any baptized person who has matured in their faith, would like to renew their baptismal vows, and has not been previously been confirmed.
Several classes are offered during each year as opportunity to prepare for Confirmation. These include the Extended Discovery Series (a twelve-week series beginning in January), and the All-in-one-Day Discover class (a Saturday class offered twice each year).
