St. David’s is a lovely venue for wedding celebrations, providing three worship spaces to choose from, ample parking and facilities to host a rehearsal dinner and/or reception. Our Historic Sanctuary provides a beautiful setting for a wedding, seating up to 425 guests, in a worship space with lots of history and adornment. Bethell Hall is a more modern setting, with seating for up to 200 guests. For a smaller wedding, Grace Chapel is a lovely little space, accommodating up to 30 guests.
Holy Matrimony is a Sacrament of the Church, and therefore there are some guidelines for being married at St. David’s. We prefer that either the bride or the groom be an active and supporting member of the church. This means they are here more Sundays than not and that they have made an annual giving pledge. There are exceptions to this rule, however, especially if the bridal couple has family ties to St. David’s. Please review the Procedures Regarding Holy Matrimony document to find out about wedding celebrations at St. David’s. The first step is to complete the Request to be Married form and return it to , our Wedding Coordinator.
All couples planning to get married at St. David’s are required to take the Preparing for a Healthy Marriage class at the Weavings Wellness Group. This class will take place several times throughout the year. The cost for the class is $300. Interested couples should contact Lisa Blackwood MS, MA, LPC, LCDC, (327-0020 ext. 331).
