We extend a big ‘Thank You!’ to everyone who has made a pledge our increased their pledge toward the 2025 Annual Giving drive. Since our all-parish meeting in January, we have received nine new pledges and 6 increases to existing pledges. These new gifts amount to $53,116, bringing total pledges to 214 for $1,150,741.
In comparison with last year’s pledges, we have a deficit of 17 pledges and $107,000. We’re inviting the parish to help us close that gap. If you’ve already made a pledge, we ask you to increase it. If you haven’t made a commitment yet, please do so soon so the vestry and finance committee will be further empowered to find long term solutions to this issue. In addition to our Stewardship efforts, the Vestry will form a sub-committee or task force to begin the 2026 budget planning process in Q1, 2025 to identify solutions and build a plan that would increase revenues and/or reduce expenses addressing any forecasted 2026 shortfall.
As a parish we are confident we will overcome this challenge, as together we continue to Walk in Love.
