Church Leadership

Allison Marshall

I have been a member of St. David’s since 2014, when I moved from Houston after retiring from ExxonMobil. I transferred my membership from St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Houston, where I had served as a flower guild member. At St. David’s, I regularly worship at the Sunday 8:00 a.m. service.

I currently serve on the executive building committee for the renovation of the Historic Church and Bethell Hall. In this capacity, I have helped produce St. David’s phased preservation master plan and have met bi-weekly for several years, helping to plan and administer this $6 million renovation project.

I have an MBA from the University of Houston and worked for ExxonMobil for 32 years in human resources and procurement. I was the procurement manager for ExxonMobil’s operations in Angola for three years in the early 2000s. I currently serve as secretary on the board of Impact Austin as well as the chair of its people committee.

I was reared in the Episcopal Church, and it has been my anchor as I’ve moved all over the world. I feel I can continue to employ my managerial and fiscal skills in serving St. David’s as a member of the vestry.
