Acolyte Commissioning - Fall 2026
Our acolyte workshop was held Sunday, Sept. 20, and we welcomed seven new acolytes to our sacred order at our commissioning Sunday, Sept. 27. In our workshop, we promoted six new acolytes from torch to crucifer positions.
At the commissioning, each new acolyte received their acolyte cross that they will wear as a necklace each time they serve in this ministry. We are also indebted to the 17 currently serving acolytes who attended our workshop and helped commission our new folks.
Watch the Acolytes Blessing
Worship is a work of the people, and I'm so thankful to all our acolytes (third grade-adult) who nourish this ministry with their time and dedication!
