Summer at St. David's for Children and Family ministry
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Monday, June 2-Friday, June 6
9 a.m.-Noon (aftercare available until 3 p.m. for $25 per child)
Cost: $75 per child
Because Austin's public school district doesn't start summer break until after Memorial Day this year, we pushed VBS to the first week of June…. This means we get FIVE DAYS OF FUN! Our VBS theme is a Road Trip. We need volunteers to help us decorate, guide children through activities, and lead each station. If you have time to spend with us during that week, please let me know ASAP. Any time you can give will be treasured.

Summer Brick Bible Returns
Sundays June 8-Aug. 10
10-11 a.m., Sumners Hall
Even though we don’t have our usual formation offerings for kids during the summer, we are still worshipping, and it’s important that we don’t let go of our faith stories in that time. Therefore, this summer, we will continue to build the stories of the Bible, brick by brick. We will gather in Sumners and hear a story each week, working to build what we heard. I cannot wait to see what we create as we journey through the Bible together!
Summer Performing Arts

Welcome Home Sunday - Last Splash!
Sunday, Aug. 17
Our enormous inflatable Slip ’n’ Slide will return with a family picnic on the playground like last year, complete with water canons, splat balls, and bubble machines. We had so much fun last year that all I can think to add is a FAN!
Let me know if you have any ideas or would like to help!
Welcome Home Sunday also includes back-to-school backpack blessings. Bring backpacks and sunscreen to church. Swimclothes are perfectly appropriate for this church occasion. Don’t forget your towels, loved ones!
