Thank you for supporting OUR (Holy) Spirit Night!
Last Tuesday, June 3, we gathered at Amy’s Ice Cream and Phil’s Ice House on Burnett Rd, where 20% of profits from sales for those who said, "St. David's at checkout, went to funding our youth service trips. The night of, I was delighted to see 72 different folks from St. David’s come through and say hi, grab a burger, and eat some ice cream. Having so many St. David’s folks in one place off-campus was electric. The kids were playing on the playground together while adults ate and caught up at the picnic tables. Even if we hadn’t made a dime off the fundraiser, it was worth it to gather and enjoy each other’s company and fellowship.
We had a goal of $700, and I have been vocal about considering it unachievable. The total is in, and we made… $645.76. Y’all, I am OVERJOYED. With St. David's support, we have reached our goal of funding this July's youth service trip to North Carolina.
