Month of Service 2025
St. David’s invites you to share in the joy and hope of the Easter season by participating in our Month of Service. We have organized several acts of kindness and service for you to be part of as a way to aid our church, neighbors, and local communities. Our goal is that all ages and abilities can participate. Equally important, we hope these experiences will build community and share the joy of Jesus’ resurrection throughout Eastertide. Please join us!
Spanish Book Drive for Elementary Students
April 20-May 10
To help young readers and their families, St. David’s is sponsoring a book drive to collect books in Spanish for elementary students at Norman-Sims Elementary. The books will be used at Norman-Sims and at the Freedom School Program run in partnership with St. James Episcopal Church.
Trinity Center’s Barbara Jordan Event
Thursday, April 24
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $125
Celebrate and support Trinity Center by attending their Barbara Jordan Event in Bethell Hall. This is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Trinity Center. All proceeds support their invaluable work on behalf of those struggling with homelessness and poverty in downtown Austin.
St. David’s Earth Day Celebration
Sunday, April 27
8:30-11:30 a.m.
Commemorate Earth Day with us in Sumners Hall. Hosted by our Environmental Guild, this year’s Sunday morning environmental fair will include children’s activities, sustainable garden information, environmental resources, advocacy information, exhibits from Barking Dog Ranch and the Refugee Collective Farm, and more. Join us as we celebrate and cherish God’s creations together!
Happy Bottoms Diaper Drive
May 11-June 15
Starting on Mother’s Day on May 11, thru Father’s Day on June 15, St. David’s is sponsoring a diaper drive for people of all ages and sizes. Our Happy Bottoms Diaper Drive will take all types of diapers -- even packages that have been opened. Please bring all infant, children’s, and adult diapers to the St. David’s Front Desk or order from our online wishlist.
Spring Cleaning at St. David’s & Trinity Center

9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Join the St. David’s volunteers for some spring cleaning! Meet your fellow parishioners as we clean out the main ministry closet and do a special clean-up project for Trinity Center. Breakfast tacos will be provided!
Teacher In-Service Day Breakfast at Norman-Sims Elementary

In partnership with our friends at St. James Episcopal Church, volunteer to serve an end-of-year appreciation breakfast for the incredible teachers at Norman-Sims Elementary, an amazing Title I School serving children in East Austin.
Church Community Blood Drive
Sunday, June 8
7:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
St. David's is partnering with First Baptist Church and Central Presbyterian Church to host a downtown blood drive. We Are Blood will conduct the drive from their bus in our surface parking lot. Information about how to sign up will be in upcoming bulletins and e-newsletters. Please give if you can.
