Help Stop Cuts to Medicaid & SNAP

Contact your Senator today to stop the proposed Federal Medicaid and SNAP Cuts in the U.S. Budget Bill. The Budget Bill is being considered in the U.S. Senate right now, and it will likely be voted on by the end of June 2025.

Join with The Episcopal Church and countless communities of faith to urge members of Congress to stand up for the federal safety-net programs created to protect the most vulnerable people in our country.

  • Cuts to Medicaid will mean that 10 to 14 million people in need will lose their healthcare. Medicaid is often the only way that poor children, people with disabilities, seniors, pregnant women, and low-income Americans have access to life-saving healthcare.
  • Cuts to SNAP will impact more than 40 million people in the United States who depend on SNAP for essential and basic food assistance. This includes 16 million children, 8 million seniors, and 4 million adults with disabilities. All of these groups of people will be affected by the proposed budget cuts to SNAP – 3.2 million people will lose their food benefits completely.
