Back-to-School Book and Backpack Drive

This summer, St. David’s will partner with the Welcome Table at St. James Episcopal Church to support Norman-Sims Elementary with a special Back-to-School Book and Backpack Drive.

This drive is focused on securing backpacks for students at a local school, which has a Title I designation, in East Austin. The books on the wishlist were selected by the Children’s Defense Fund’s Freedom Schools which is a multicultural program that promotes love of reading and learning. All books purchased can be sent to St. David’s through our online wishlist or brought to our front desk.

Books will be blessed on Welcome Home Sunday on Aug. 17. Thank you in advance for your open heart, and generosity!
