Laundry Love February Detergent Drive

Now in its 10th year, Laundry Love is St. David’s monthly ministry that helps to better lives with love, dignity, and access to clean laundry. Throughout February, we will hold our annual Laundry Love Detergent Drive.

On Feb. 11, please join us in recognizing our Laundry Love ministry and its dedicated volunteers at the 9 and 11 a.m. liturgies. To volunteer or support, contact Dianne Hardy-Garcia.

  • Each month, volunteers from St. David’s and beyond provide laundry cards and supplies to our neighbors in need, followed by a meal of pizza and dessert.
  • In our 10th year, this ministry grew by 30% last year. Now, we help 100 people and families do their laundry every month.
  • In 2023, Laundry Love supported our neighbors by providing over 1,000 meals and 960 laundry supply packets that included laundry cards, detergent, and dryer sheets, enabling Austinites to do 4,800 loads of laundry.
