BISHOP doyle calls for A week of service

Following the election, Bishop Doyle has called for “A Week of Service” in churches throughout the Diocese of Texas. Organized in partnership with HJAN, this week aims to unify Christians and overcome the partisanship of election season. Coming together through acts of service, kindness, and love has the potential to heal some of our divisions and provide hope in our communities.

At St. David’s, we invite you to participate in our “Week of Service” in the following ways:

  • Food Supply & Food Card Drive for St. James’ Welcome Table Food Pantry
    • Wednesday, Nov. 6-Sunday, Nov. 17: We will collect HEB cards, non-perishable food supplies, and adult pull-up diapers for the food pantry at St. James’ Welcome Table in East Austin. We hope to help fill their pantry before Thanksgiving so that the 190 families served by this neighborhood food pantry have a blessed holiday.  Donations can be dropped off at the front desk until Sunday, Nov. 17.
