20Feb

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, at St. David’s — a beautiful, loving and committed group of 75 gathered in the cold for a prayer vigil in response to ICE detentions at JJ Pickle Federal Building. Joined by Central Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Church, we shared an evening liturgy together in our sanctuary and then proceeded outside by candlelight and song. Together, we faced the building where the detentions are happening and prayed for all impacted by ICE policy at this time. It was deeply inspiring to see our church come together to make this happen and show that we care about our migrant neighbors.
