St. David's at the 97th Annual Kite Fest

As is our tradition, St. David's hosted a booth at the ABC Kite Fest on Saturday, April 5. We greeted hundreds of festival-goers and told them all about our church and school in the heart of downtown Austin. Kids decorated pinwheels; we handed out St. David's memorabilia, and adults were offered strips of cloth to write their prayers and were invited to let us bring the prayer ribbons back to church. Yesterday, the Revs. Kristin and Hope read the prayers and tied them together to hang above our Labyrinth on Easter.
