A very rich and rewarding part of my experience as a Saint David's parishioner is the time I spend as a volunteer with the Flower Delivery Ministry.
It feels so good to present beautiful floral arrangements from Sunday services to homebound church members. I also get to spend time with really inspiring folks. We laugh, we have meaningful discussions, and we share our love for the community with which we are so fortunate to worship.
As a recent retiree, I am still learning to navigate this new phase of life. After those visits, I leave with a deeper appreciation for the way people have chosen to live, motivating me to strive for more out of myself.
