Holy Eucharist for Feast of the Holy Cross 2025
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. in Historic Church, we held a festive Eucharist with special music by the St. David's Choir, which included the commissioning of new acolytes. Fr. Chuck gave a sermon on the history of the Cross. He reminded us of the unseen symbol on our foreheads, given through oil at baptism, that can be seen on Ash Wednesday. He urged the young people waiting to be commissioned for service at the altar to follow the God's message as they become crucifers in worship and leaders in our community.
