Feast of Pentecost
8 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite I with Renewal of Baptismal Vows
9 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II with Holy Baptism
11:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II with Holy Baptism and Festive choral Music
Join us to celebrate what some call the "birthday of the Church" and renew our baptismal vows as we commemorate the day on which the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples. At the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services the St. David's Choir will sing Tallis' famous English anthem "If Ye Love Me" at the offertory. All are invited to wear red, the festive color of the day.
At 10 a.m. in Crail C, Dr. Mona West will present the lecture, Pentecost: The Original DEI Program.
Children and Youth are invited to Sumners Hall, where Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries Kelsey Cooper will host a Sunday Youth Table (June 1-Aug. 10). Children and families are invited to join the Rev. Kristin Braun at a table for the first Brick Bible gathering of the summer (June 8-Aug. 10).
In the culmination of our 2025 Month of Service, a blood donation van will be parked in the surface lot throughout the morning as part of our downtown Austin churches' blood donation drive in partnership with St. Central Presbyterian Church. Pre-registration at We Are Blood is required to participate on June 8.
We hope you will join us!
