The Open Table
St. David's is an open and affirming church. We believe that God loves us all – no exceptions. The Episcopal Church also has a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; and all those who are called may serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual identity, or orientation. We are an open and affirming parish located in downtown Austin, and our parish family stretches throughout the metropolitan area.
The Open Table is an educational program at St. David’s for the LGBTQ+ community which also includes parish-wide fellowship and a quarterly Holy Eucharist.
