2026 Youth Ministry Fall Formation Begins

Hello my friends! I’ve missed y’all after being on maternity leave this summer. Thank you for all your prayers and well-wishes; baby and I are doing fine. I cannot wait to see you all again!

Here's a list of key dates to add to your calendars:

Aug. 19, first day of EYC; meet at 5:30 p.m. in Sumners Hall for dinner

Aug. 30, first day of Youth Formation; meet at 10 a.m. in room 170

EYC and Youth Formation will continue meeting at their usual times until we get into the holiday season.

Youth Formation
Sundays, 10 a.m.
Room 170

Youth Formation meets most Sundays. Our typical gathering style is to begin with check-ins (names, pronouns, one thing happening in your life you want to share), then follow with reading one of the day's lectionary scripture readings and discussing/learning about it. Alternatively, we sometimes do topical series.

Episcopal Youth Community (EYC)
Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m.
Sumners Hall, Room 170

EYC is our weekly youth group for grades sixth through 12th. Most Wednesdays, we begin by eating dinner in Sumners Hall 5:30-6pm, and then move to the youth room or the playground from 6 to 7:30pm for games and silliness before finishing with a short prayer practice and a devo.

Sacred Order of Acolytes Workshop
Sunday, Sept. 20
12:30 p.m., Historic Church

We are inducting new members into the Sacred Order of Acolytes!!! If you are in grades third through 12th or are an adult who wants more responsibility at church, we’d love to see you at our workshop Sunday, Sept. 20! Register by Sunday, Sept. 13.
