Update: Fall Trip postponed to Spring 2025
Due to low registration, we are moving our Day Trip to Spring 2025.
Fall Day Trip: A Ranch, A Farm & BBQ
Saturday, Nov. 23
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
All ages are invited for a special day trip to Barking Dog Ranch, Refugee Collective Farm, and for a lunch at the legendary Black’s BBQ in Lockhart. You can ride on a group bus or drive your own vehicle. This will be a wonderful chance to breathe some country air, plant wildflowers, pet livestock, enjoy parish fellowship, and appreciate the bounty of God’s creation.
This event was organized in collaboration with St. David's Environmental Guild, Children’s and Family Ministry, and the Community Engagement and Advocacy Ministry.
Transportation
If you would like to ride on a bus with St. David’s parishioners, please sign up to reserve a seat for an adult or child. There are 28 seats on the St. David’s bus, so don’t delay. There is no required cost for the bus seat, but a donation at any level to the Community Engagement Fund would be appreciated. Participants are expected to cover the cost of their own lunch at Black’s BBQ.
- 8:30 a.m. Bus and individual drivers depart from St. David’s
- 3 p.m. Return to St. David's
For those who are driving, please contact Dianne Hardy-Garcia at
