Dec. 21: Posada at St. Alban's

The HOME ministry (Hispanic Outreach Ministry and Education), in partnership with several other area episcopal churches, is putting on a posada.  All are invited to join us for this religious festival event celebrated throughout Mexico and parts of the United States between December 16 and 24.  This beautiful tradition commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of refuge where Mary could safely give birth to the infant Jesus. This lovely intergenerational event has traditional food, piñatas, and music.  All are invited to participate.

This year, St. Alban's Episcopal Church (11819 S I-35 Frontage Rd South, Austin, TX 78747) will host the posada. We are asking for volunteers to help with side dishes, drinks, and desserts.
