"There's a simple reason why I enjoy volunteering my time as a part of the Cafe Divine team = the people. The cooks, dishwashers, and front-of-house folks work together industriously and cheerfully. The long-timers, families, and newcomers who dine at Cafe Divine are varied, friendly, and always interesting. Giving my time is my way of giving to our St. David's community. Our volunteer work with Café Divine and the food ministry at St. Davids has become ingrained in our lives over the last nineteen years. It's great working with such wonderful people in a relaxed but truly professional space. Chef Ray has curated a welcoming atmosphere. Food, especially good food, brings us all together, and the kitchen helps any house become a home. It's rewarding to contribute to a central element of so many people’s St. David’s experience, be they parishioners or visitors.

I like how low-pressure the work is while we volunteers also gain so much practical experience. The people are incredibly nice - helpful with the kitchen's high standards but not stern. Cafe Divine is just an all-around great environment to work in.
