Ministry of The Month: Youth Ministry

What We Do
Youth Ministry serves students in grades sixth through 12th from all over the Austin area. Students gather twice weekly during the school year: on Wednesdays for dinner, community building, prayer, and a devotional; and on Sundays for theological engagement on the weekly lectionary scriptures.
In addition to Sunday and Wednesday formation and community building, being a part of Youth Ministry can also look like:
- Being part of the annual youth confirmation class series,
We believe youth belong in every ministry at St. David’s, not just in age-restricted silos, and so they often serve in the kitchen with Café Divine, at Ramp Build, in Trinity Streets, Vacation Bible School, and so much more.
We Need Volunteers

If you’re an adult with a deep desire to know the current slang and often be reminded of your age, we are currently seeking new adult volunteers to work alongside youth! If you or your kid is in the youth demographic, please join us any Wednesday or Sunday!
Sacred Order of Acolytes

We are inducting new members into the Sacred Order of Acolytes! If you are in grades third through 12th or are an adult who wants more responsibility at church, we’d love to see you at our workshop.

If stepping into a new space feels intimidating, I would love to meet with you or with the whole family to answer any questions and get to know you better!
Your faithful giving makes all of this possible. Thank you!
