Model Pipe Organ at Sunday Breakfast
June 22 and 29
10-11 a.m., Sumners Hall
St David’s has borrowed an "Orgelkids" miniature organ kit (designed for kids, but fun for all) to build a miniature working pipe organ, help folks learn how the organ works, and raise awareness of the Historic Church organ project. Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the façade of the Historic Church organ? The Organ Committee will demonstrate a fully working miniature pipe organ during Sunday Breakfast so you can see exactly how it works. Drop by and learn more about the ‘king of instruments.’
Model pipe organ assembly
Wednesday, June 25
5:30–7 p.m., Choir Room
Learn how the organ works by helping to assemble a fully working miniature instrument. This fun, hands-on project for older elementary ages and above will help you understand, appreciate, and learn more about our Historic Church organ project. If you can’t stay for the whole build, drop by before or after parish supper and see the work in progress.
