The Rt. Rev. Angela Cortiñas Ordained and Consecrated West Texas’ Seventh Bishop Suffragan

On Saturday, March 15 the Rt. Rev. Angela M. Cortiñas was ordained and consecrated the Seventh Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Read more on Episcopal News Service.

Angela served as St. David's associate rector from 2021-2024. Fr. Chuck, members of our vestry, parishioners, staff, family, and friends traveled to McAllen, TX, to attend in person and offer congratulations and blessings. At the same time, many in our parish watched the livestream of the service at St. John's Episcopal Church.
