My name is JC Sanders, and I am the chair of the Search Committee for St. David’s next rector.
The Search Committee has already begun its work. We were trained on the process of calling a rector in January and then immediately jumped into our important business. We have been meeting on a weekly basis to create our interview questions based on our Parish Profile and the church’s values.
The Parish Profile has been “live” on our website and on the Diocese of Texas platform for several weeks. If you are wondering how you can help, we are asking all parishioners to spread the good news of St. David’s. Please share our profile and that St. David’s is in active search for a new rector.
The Search Committee members are happy to answer questions about the process. However, please understand that we have all signed an agreement of confidentiality in order to conduct a proper search in accordance with the guidelines set by the Diocese of Texas.
The members of the committee are Elizabeth Bangs, Stacia Bowley, Crystal Cooper, John Fitzpatrick, Tom Gebhard, Cath Polito, Bob Riendeau, Catherine Roberts, Jose Sanchez, JC Sanders, Dan Salter, and Barbara Stinson. We will be giving updates on the search process in the St. David’s newsletters as well as during announcements at services.
