It’s here! Our parish survey launches today and we need your help!
This survey is like “taking the temperature”, so to speak, of St. David’s. And it’s an important tool to get input from the ENTIRE parish. It’s the first step for the Profile Committee to define who we are and where we think the Spirit is leading us.
What the survey helps us do:
- Understand our church's health: Get a vital read-out on the current state of our congregation.
- Chart our future course: Gain a sense of where our members believe the spirit is leading us.
- Celebrate our unique identity: Receive a clear description of our church as a distinct body of people.
The company we are using, Holy Cow Consulting, uses a large set of standard questions, and our St. David’s-specific questions are at the end. So please finish all the questions. Only fully completed surveys will count and this form does not allow you to start, save, and finish later. Give yourself enough time to answer all the questions in one session.
Completing it online is best. The link to the survey is at the end of this blog post. If you need a paper version, copies may be requested by visiting or calling the front desk at 512-610-3500.
Last time St. David’s did a parish survey, we had a 77% response rate. Come on, y’all — we can beat that this time! We will provide weekly updates on response level, so please take the survey as soon as you can.
After surveys are submitted, we will present the results to the parish in October. Following that, we will convene listening groups to gain even more insight into who we are as a parish — there are multiple ways for you to tell us what you think about St. David’s.
