St. David's Young Adult Ministry

The Austin-Area EpiscoPals are a community of 20-30-somethings navigating life and faith in The Episcopal church together. This group is supported by St. David's Young Adult Ministry and meets every other Thursday (5-7 p.m.). Some meetings are just for fun, and others will include formation. All are welcome, from active Episcopalians, to folks who are curious about The Episcopal Church, to those looking for a community.

Tapestry Austin

1st and 3rd Sundays
5-7 p.m., the Brewtorium (6015 Dillard Cir A, Austin, TX 78752)

Tapestry was formed from a collaboration between the young adult ministries of St. David's and St. Matthews' Episcopal Churches as a monthly bible study for adults from Austin-area Episcopal churches. The ministry has grown and now includes Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and others. As the ministry has grown, we decided to meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Brewtorium for community-building, bible study, and snacks. All young adults are invited and welcome to attend. Just so you know, registration is not required. Contact  with questions.

College-aged Young Adults

For our friends who are traditionally college-aged (18-22 yo), we encourage you to check out the great work the Rev. Noah Stansbury is doing at the UT Episcopal Student CenterNoah is an excellent campus missioner, and you don’t have to be a student at UT to be involved in that ministry. There’s also a great college ministry called South Austin Canterbury for folks at community colleges in the area, led by Lisa Perez.
