Austin-area EpiscoPals

Most Thursdays
7-9 p.m., private homes (locations sent after RSVP emailed to Kelsey)

The Austin-area EpiscoPals are a community of 20 and 30-somethings navigating life and faith in the Episcopal church together. This group is supported by St. David's Young Adult Ministry and meets every other Thursday. Some meetings are just for fun and others will include formation. All are welcome, from active Episcopalians to folks who are curious about The Episcopal Church, to those looking for a community. 

• Oct 3- PowerPoint Night
  

  • Bring a five minute powerpoint about any topic. We'll gathering at a private home in Brentwood. We'll eat dinner together and see what everyone is weirdly passionate about. 

• Oct. 17- Exorcism with the Rev. Kristin Braun
  

  • The Rev. Kristin Braun will facilitate a discussion and listen to all our questions and wonderings on exorcism and demons. Dinner is included. 

• Nov. 7- Prayer with the Rev. Cameron Spoor
  

  • Cameron will join us to discuss all our questions and wonderings on prayer. Dinner is included. 

• Nov. 21- Non-Parish Clergy with the Rev. Nathan Speck-Ewer
  

  • Nathan will share his experience as a priest not working at a congregation, but instead as a school and hospital chaplain.

• Dec. 6- Austin-Area EpiscoPals Christmas Party
  

  • Save the date for our annual Christmas celebration. 

Tapestry Austin

Tapestry Austin is a group of young adults from Austin-area Episcopal churches that meet monthly for snacks, conversation, and fellowship. All young adults are invited and welcome to attend. For questions, please contact Tapestry Austin’s leaders, Kelsey Cooper or Allen Junek.
