Practicing Resurrection Lecture Series
Sundays May 4-June 1
10 a.m. Crail C
Many people see Easter as the end of the season of Lent, and that is certainly true, but it is also the beginning of the Great Fifty Days of Easter, or Eastertide, in the life of the church. We have 50 days to relish in the resurrection stories of Jesus culminating in the feast of Pentecost, on Sunday, June 8. Our Adult Formation Crail C series during the season of Eastertide is entitled Practicing Resurrection. Guest speakers who are writers and poets will be invite us to think about resurrection, not just as the promise of heaven or eternal life, but also as a life-giving reality in the world today that turns things upside down for the sake of God’s love.
