Repair Work on West Retaining Wall Begins

Work will begin on the small retaining wall on the San Jacinto-side of our block to repair water damage to the small wall. The old wall will be removed and a new one constructed. We expect construction to be completed by mid-December. During construction there will be scaffolding, but no impact to accessing the surface lot.

This work was not planned during the Historic Church renovation in 2023, and heavy rains in summer 2025 increased damage to the small retaining wall. However, construction costs will be covered by funds related to the renovation and Historic Tax Credits.
