2025 Youth Service Trip: North Carolina
Thank you to all who offered prayers for our five youth, volunteer Bill Landon, Assistant Director of Youth Ministry Sara Cannon, and Director of Youth Ministry Kelsey Cooper, as they traveled to North Carolina for their service trip in partnership with Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Greensboro.
The group experienced some travel delays but arrived safely at the Glory Ridge campsite by dinnertime, where they reconnected with Jenny Campbell, Holy Trinity's director of Youth Ministry (and St. David's former youth director). The youth have spent this week building, painting, installing insulation, and cleaning to help the local community recover from the damage done by Hurricane Hellene. There has also been time for sing-alongs, prayer, and impassioned debates about movies and anime! Parents are receiving daily updates from Kelsey, and the parish is invited to see more photos on the St. David's Youth Instagram account.
