St. David’s was well represented at the Diocese of Texas Council Feb. 27-28, 2026, in The Woodlands. Our delegates Laurie Eiserloh, Tom Gebhard, Bill Landon, and Joy Philpott were joined by the clergy in voting on important matters such as electing General Convention deputies to represent the diocese in 2027 and approving a diocesan budget. Director of Community Engagement and Advocacy Dianne Hardy-Garcia presented an important workshop organizing a grassroots effort to ask our state legislators to continue to fund SNAP benefits and ensure our neighborhoods don’t lose this vital support. The "Feed the Hungry" presentation will be the Crail C lecture Sunday, April 26.
