Communications Team Wins Four Awards

Last week, Director of Communications Lori Blewett and Assistant Director of Communications Holt Haley-Walker attended the Episcopal Communicators annual conference in Oklahoma City, OK. Lori and Holt earned Polly Bond awards for excellence in communications for their work on the digital newsletter, short-form video, accessibility communications, and social media. Lori was also re-elected to serve a 3-year term on the organization’s leadership board. 

Communicators from around the country attended communications labs and workshops, and heard addresses from President of the House of Deputies Julia Ayala Harris, Bishop Paulson Reed, Dean Katie Churchwell, and a local community advocate on the importance of communicators and their role in the Church and the greater community.
