Day of Pentecost
All-Parish Worship and Picnic

We'll gather for an all-parish photo immediately at the end of the service, and we'll return to the tables for our picnic.

All-Parish Photo

Following the service, we'll gather just a few steps away for an all-parish photo. Wear casual picnic attire and red to symbolize the Holy Spirit and the "tongues of fire" that descended upon the Apostles.

We'll return to Kingsbury Commons for our picnic after the photo. Please bring your favorite dish and/or dessert to share with your table. St. David’s will provide fried chicken and iced tea, water, and lemonade. Bring a seat cushion, camp chair, or blanket for extra comfort.

Rain Plan

The National Weather Service is projecting rainy weather throughout the week. We're actively watching the forecast and planning accordingly. We'll make a decision by Friday afternoon if we need to move our Pentecost worship and picnic indoors.

Our rain plan is to move the Pentecost service to Historic Church. The picnic will follow in Sumners Hall.
