On Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m., St. David's parishioners are invited to join the Rt. Rev. Dr. David G. Read, D.D. and the Diocese of West Texas to celebrate the ordination and consecration of our former associate rector, the Rev. Angela Maria Cortiñas, as bishop and the 7th Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of West Texas. The Most Reverend Sean Rowe, presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church, to serve as chief consecrator.
A group from St. David's plans to attend the celebration at St. John's Episcopal Church, McAllen. The livestream will begin on the Diocese of West Texas website at 9:45 a.m.
