Why do I give to St. Davids?
We give to St. David’s to give back from God’s abundance. The church needs money to support the priests, staff and operating costs. Outreach ministries are important to us because we are part of the Beloved Community. We are happy to help with funding all these activities.
When my first wife Diana and I moved to Austin from San Antonio, we selected St. David’s as our church home. My wife and I had always been involved in outreach programs to underprivileged people. We decided we needed to work with St. David’s homeless neighbors and invite them into our church. This led to us founding the Trinity Center. Many contributed money to build Trinity Center on the bottom floor of our church building. The project took a year using volunteer labor and donated materials.
Building Trinity Center and offering unlimited hospitality has been our goal since 1999. We invest by donating funds for the operation, maintenance, and social workers to help our neighbors change their lives. Love and generosity are the answers to sustaining our Beloved Community.

God of heaven and earth,
you have made your handiwork known in your bountiful creation
and in our lives filled with grace.
Help us to remember those who have gone before us,
who generously planted seeds that have matured and now are bearing fruit. Guide us so that we may also be generous in our response to your goodness
and plant seeds that will become deeply rooted, transformed, and fruitful
for today and for future generations.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
