Not only do I find peace, community, nourishment, and affirmation of faith at St. David’s, but my children do as well. They are seen, loved, known, understood, and guided by a community of caring adults, youth, and peers. Moreover, St. David’s supports our community with work that I believe in but cannot always do on my own.
Providing meals, services, and clothing for unhoused neighbors; providing a venue for music and art; providing a forum for our elected officials, journalists, and artists to speak to their beliefs and work and practices—all of this is what I am supporting when I give to St. David’s. I want to feed what feeds me, what feeds my family, and what feeds my friends.
Stewardship Prayer
written by Lee Parker & Frana Keith
God of heaven and earth,
you have made your handiwork known in your bountiful creation
and in our lives filled with grace.
Help us to remember those who have gone before us,
who generously planted seeds that have matured and now are bearing fruit. Guide us so that we may also be generous in our response to your goodness
and plant seeds that will become deeply rooted, transformed, and fruitful
for today and for future generations.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
