2026 Adult Formation Sundays: Resurrection Hopes, Political Dreams
Resurrection Hopes, Political Dreams
Sundays, 10 a.m.
Crail C
This class will meet Sundays, Nov. 1 and 8, at 10 a.m.
What does God owe in the resurrection to sexed bodies, gendered bodies, raced bodies, disabled bodies, and embodied identities? How do our future hopes of bodily resurrection inform how we live now? What is a faithful response of embodiment in the political sphere if we are certain of what we hope for in the world to come?
Join us for two weeks of conversation on how our future hope in the resurrection informs our political witness in the present with practical guidance on how to be an advocate for future hope today.
Nov. 1
Speculative theology of the resurrection and how it informs our understanding of God’s honoring of identity.
Nov. 8
Dianne Hardy-Garcia gives insight and hopeful action steps to translate future hope into current political action
