In this lecture, Rabbi Denise L. Eger, an international Jewish leader, author, and social justice activist, will explore biblical interpretation in the Jewish tradition.

About Rabbi Eger
Rabbi Eger is the founding rabbi Emerita of Congregation Kol Ami in West Hollywood, CA. She is the past president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the international organization of more than 2,300 Reform Rabbis. She served as the first openly gay or lesbian person in that position. She was also the first woman ever elected as President of the Southern California Board of Rabbis, which includes Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, and Orthodox Rabbis. Currently, she is serving as the Interim CEO of A Wider Bridge, an organization that connects the Israeli LGBTQ+ community and the North American Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities.
