Each year over two billion birds migrate through Texas on the way to either their breeding or wintering territories. As part of our Creation Care series, Chris Gunter, former president and board member of Travis Audubon, will teach us about these amazing creatures who do most of their migrating while we sleep, showing up in our yards for maybe a few hours before heading on their way, or for the entire summer or winter.

Chris Gunter is a former president and board member of Travis Audubon. He’s been birding for more than 40 years and is a Master Birder and Master Naturalist. Chris has been leading bird walks for several years and teaches birding classes for the Lifetime Learning Institute and Travis Audubon.
